Hi, i'm Sue Wells, a personal trainer and group exercise instructor of over 10 years and martial arts practitioner and coach of over 32 years.

My love of training began when I walked into to my first Taekwondo class at the age of 14 and have since followed a natural progression from then teaching martial arts to doing my level 2 exercise to music and gym instruction to level 3 personal trainer and pre and post natal coach along with many CPD courses including kettlebells, suspension trainer.

I have since helped women, and men, to start their journey and encourage them to embrace and be proud of their bodies and what they are capable of and to fall in love with fitness. Knowing that if they are enjoying their journey with fitness and nutrition and it is a sustainable part of their life that fat loss (if that is what they want) along with feeling fitter and stronger becomes a side effect not the focus. Not everyone strives for fat loss, it could social, strength and conditioning, health benefits, mental health, weight gain, competing the list goes on.

Being brought up in the Martial Arts world my etiquette is respect, discipline, courtesy, trust, empathy, confidence, form strong bonds, help others and be proud but humble.

Experience has taught me to surround yourself with people on the same positive journey as you, these people along with yourself are the dream team, always encouraging, supporting, pushing and proudly acknowledging each other’s achievements. Don’t do unto others you wouldn’t want done to yourself.

It’s no secret, I love to lift! I am a big advocate for strength training. It is a wonderful feeling to see so many of my clients who start off as complete novices going on to lift well over their bodyweights.
